With the awareness of being an academic institution and aiming to be a pioneer of change in the information age, Giresun University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is an important center of science with its strong academic staff consisting of 65 academic personnel with extensive national and international experience, qualified administrative staff, over 1,500 students, and thousands of graduates.

Our Faculty conducts educational activities in 4 different undergraduate fields: Department of Economics, Department of Business Administration, Department of International Relations, and Department of Political Science and Public Administration. There are also nearly 20 graduate programs where research activities are intensified within these fields.
While transferring current knowledge to our students, we work to ensure that they grow as individuals who respect our national values, have a scientific and universal perspective, can analytically evaluate global developments, and are compatible with the requirements of the labor market. In undergraduate programs, students can register for elective courses at a rate of at least 25% of the curriculum in a way that allows them to develop themselves especially in line with their areas of interest.

International exchange programs, which our Faculty is also part of, offer important opportunities for our students to further develop their knowledge and skills and become competent individuals in harmony with different cultures.
Our Faculty, through events such as congresses, symposiums, panels, conferences, seminars, and talks, enables both the increase and sharing of knowledge and the multifaceted development of our students. Student communities are also an important component of this process with their activities.
Our Faculty, with its projects and publications focused on scientific production and social benefit, shares the extensive experience of its strong academic staff with students and other segments of society, contributing to the development of our country and the improvement of humanity's welfare. We take an approach that considers and aims to meet the expectations of all our internal and external stakeholders. On this basis, we are ready for cooperation with all our national and international stakeholders.
