Foundation Year and Development Process

The foundations of the Department of Business Administration were laid in the 2007-2008 academic year. Student admissions to the daytime program began in the 2008-2009 academic year, and the evening program was opened starting from 2009-2010.

2009-10

The first comprehensive curriculum revision was carried out.

2010-11

Within the framework of the Bologna process, the curriculum was made equivalent to European universities, and the elective course ratio was set at a minimum of twenty-five percent.

2011-12

Compulsory English preparatory education was initiated, and it was decided that at least one elective course would be offered in English each semester.

2013-14

An application was made to YOK for a minimum of thirty percent of courses to be conducted in English, and approval was obtained.

2015-16

Based on student-centered approach feedback, compulsory English preparatory education was made optional, and the curriculum was reorganized in Turkish.

Program Type

Education is provided in two program types in our department:

Daytime Education
Evening Education

Both programs have the same curriculum and academic standards.

Graduation Requirements

 
Completion of the required credit hours
 
Successful completion of compulsory and elective courses
 
Meeting the cumulative grade point average requirement
 
Specialization opportunity with at least 25% elective courses

Foreign Language Education

An optional foreign language preparatory program is offered in our department. Through this program, our students have the opportunity to develop their English language competencies and prepare for international career opportunities.
