About the Department

The aim of the Department of Economics is to conduct contemporary educational activities in light of science, taking into account constantly changing internal and external conditions, and to train qualified economists equipped with information age skills who are sensitive to developments in the Turkish and world economy and can be employed in both public and private sectors.

Our department aims to establish close relationships with the business world and various sectors through scientific studies, projects and consultancy services, and to provide support to our students in practical applications and job placement.

Program Type

Education is provided in two program types:

Daytime Education
Evening Education

Both programs have the same curriculum and academic standards.

Graduation Requirements

 
Completion of required credit hours
 
Successful completion of compulsory and elective courses
 
Meeting the GPA requirement
 
Specialization with at least 25% elective courses

Our graduates can also obtain the following professional titles with the "Economist" degree:

Economist, Banking, Specialist, Bank Inspector, Certified Public Accountant, Financial Advisor, Sworn Financial Advisor, Entrepreneur

* Accounting and financial advisory titles require completion of necessary legal certification processes.
