The Giresun University Alumni Information System, which enables our graduates to maintain their connection with the university and to reach alumni services from a single point, is now available at mezun.giresun.edu.tr. We invite the graduates of our Faculty to register with the system.
Graduates log in with their student numbers. Once logged in, profile information can be updated, the alumni survey can be completed, the message board and chat rooms can be used, and diploma and diploma supplement requests can be submitted online.
In the Alumni Corner section, articles, success stories, event announcements and job postings can be shared, and submitted content is published after administrator approval. Featured stories are displayed in the Alumni Showcase section, and calls addressed to graduates are issued through the Announcements section. Statistics screens presenting graduate numbers by general, provincial and unit-based breakdowns are also open to everyone.
Our graduates' career information and their assessments of the education they received are used directly in reviewing our Faculty's programmes. Alumni feedback informs the updating of course content and the planning of career services in our Economics, Business Administration, Political Science and Public Administration, and International Relations programmes.
Within the 2026 Institutional Accreditation Programme conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the existence of an alumni tracking system and the use of the data it produces in decision-making processes are also assessed. For this reason, it matters to our Faculty that our graduates register with the system, update their profile information and complete the alumni survey.
